Through CBF's partnership with International Antioch Ministries (IAM) based in Sunnyvale, California, we seek to support women in the Middle East, (currently in Iran), who are Emerging Christian leaders financially, with prayer, and possible mission trips/prayer walking.
These women are:

Moslem background believers

Christian believers who have completed foundational classes: “What is Christianity?” “Baptism Class,” “Kingdom Living Class”

Have completed basic leadership training (3 classes) taught by IAM

Have planted house churches and are actively leading them, as well as actively witnessing and tithing. Most of the women are leading two or more churches.

Are connected with the International Antioch Ministries (IAM) organization through which they have accountability; IAM provides the women church planters with leadership development.It is our goal to have churches and/or individuals “adopt” emerging women leaders in the Middle East. In doing so, they will covenant first to pray for and then to financially support a woman for one year. In doing this, a woman church planter would be able to continue to share the gospel, plant churches and provide leadership to her churches. Many of these women are without an income or have a low income and struggle to maintain a tolerable lifestyle; however, because they are so passionate about sharing Christ in their context they make church planting a priority in their lives. Some of them are single and without a husband to support them. Some have lost their jobs because of their Christianity. All are at extreme risk of being jailed and/or killed.
A salary of $400/month would provide for one woman’s basic needs and would be an acceptable living. Some churches may want to pay a full salary of $400/month or a partial salary of $100/month. Other churches/individuals can only pay $50/month – sharing the cost with others. Or donors may desire to make a one-time gift which would be applied to this project.
At this time, there are 135 emerging women leaders already participating in this program with IAM, fifteen of whom have an immediate need.
