Most international students can relate well to each other through playing and watching sports. This project helps to buy sporting equipment as well as helping to reduce the cost of tickets to such things as baseball, football, and hockey games. Students find it helpful to know American sports because sports are such a big part of our society. The events are also non-threatening ways to include new-comers to the group.
